How refreshing it would be if instead of promoting the latest fad diet, we encouraged creating a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable and one that doesn’t create fear around food!

How many times do you think you’ve found yoursel

How many times do you think you’ve found yourself saying “I’ll start on Monday”? 10 times, 30 times, maybe more than 100 times? You start off all gung-ho only to find that days later, the promise you’ve made to yourself has lost its shine and you really can’t be bothered following through.

We tend to keep repeating this same pattern over and over again, caught in a vicious cycle of lame excuses and a putrid belief in our ability to do what we set out to do in the first place.

So why is it that we are the first people that we break our promises to? Seriously, think about it for a moment. Do you break as many promises to your friends? I think not! So is it really okay to keep doing this to ourselves? NOPE IT ABSOLUTELY IS NOT! Promises made to yourself that are continuously broken equal nothing more than lip service to you. It’s time for you to care more about your self-trust and self-respect!

This vicious cycle generally relates to a sub-conscious that is enjoying driving your bus. Over-riding this and taking back the driver’s seat isn’t terribly easy, but IT IS ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE!

Every growing period or time we go through radical

Every growing period or time we go through radical changes in our lives, creates an uncomfortable feeling within. We are shifting outside of our comfort zones into something new, something we perhaps haven’t experienced before and our subconscious tends to kick back and throw resistance out there in order to bring us back within what feels comfortable. It’s important during this time, to acknowledge this resistance, accept it for what it is and continue to move forward. This is not the time to give in! Being fully aware of this feeling, consciously making decisions to take the next step forward will bring you back into alignment with YOU and what you truly desire.
